| This session will look at
why compliance is still important, as well as helping medical
practices identify risk areas related to medicare and other
payers. The attendees will walk away with an understanding of
why compliance is still important and the tools necessary to
identify red flags in their practice through the use of
profiling provider evaluation and management services and
denial analysis. Ms. Stavrakas has over 15 years Current
Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Internal Classification of
Diseases (ICD-9) coding experience in physician billing,
education, management and consulting. |

This presentation will
focus on physician recruitment arrangements between hospitals
and physician groups and individual physicians. In addition,
the presentation will cover compensation arrangements,
including productivity bonuses, professional courtesy
requirements, shared facility arrangements, rural location
exceptions and other physician benefits governed by the Stark
regulations.
