| B. "Top
00010101 Things An Administrator Should Know About Their
Computers and Network" |
|
Gary Batchellor |
| |
|
An informal presentation from a technical
perspective on basic do's and don’ts regarding a medical
office computer network. Non-geeks tend to accept that their
computers and network just work and will keep working, and
when they don't it's panic time.
This session will provide administrators with guidelines to
help them keep their equipment secure and operational with
tips on how to prepare for a network outage plus how to manage
day-to-day operations. This presentation is intended to be
more interactive than your normal sessions. Gary has been
involved with medical equipment for 25 years starting in
diagnostic imaging equipment repair, moving into sales, then
into installation and maintenance of computer networks. He is
currently employed by Family MedCenters overseeing the
equipment needs of an eight office practice.
