American College of Medical Practice Executives

Welcome to 2007.  I hope one of your resolutions this year is to become Certified in American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) or for those currently Certified to take your personal career to a new level by attaining  Fellowship in the College. 

This year each of us will be continually challenged to do our best for our practices.  What better way to prepare than to continue to develop yourself personally? 

The certification exam will be held throughout the year, either on-line in either Kansas City and Oklahoma City, or at professional conferences sponsored by MGMA in 2007. 

One of the goals set by the college for their ACMPE Forum Representatives (that’s me) is to have 100 new Fellows in 2007.  Whew…now that’s a challenge for anyone.  So all you CMPE’s out there…Is This Your Year??? 

For those interested the computerized exams will be on April 28^th, with a registration deadline of April 13^th, and July 28^th with the registration deadline of July 13^th.  Contact the ACMPE at MGMA.com for all the details or contact me at Robert.harvey@lmh.org for more information.
